I’m Laura S. Urbina, a graduate in French Haute Couture tambour embroidery from the prestigious École Lesage (Paris) and Studio Eyral.
Before dedicating myself fully to embroidery, I earned a PhD in aerospace engineering and worked as a university lecturer. Precision, problem-solving, and structured learning techniques have always been at the core of my work—and now, they shape the way I teach this delicate art, making it clear, accessible, and truly transformative.
Since my early days as a student in engineering school, I understood how important it was to have a professor who knew how to speak to students—truly connecting with them and making learning both engaging and effective. When I became a teacher myself, this belief only strengthened.
